Privacy and File Handling
This page explains how Tough Study uses, retains, protects, and de-identifies client information and work product.
Information you choose to provide
Depending on the offer, Tough Study may collect your name, email, career goals, work history, résumé, LinkedIn information, scheduling preferences, and answers to product-specific intake questions.
How information is used
Your information is used to review fit, provide the service you requested, prepare for sessions, create agreed materials, communicate about delivery, and maintain necessary business records.
Service providers
Tough Study uses Stripe for payment and Google Workspace for forms, email, scheduling, and working files. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and publication
Client materials are not published as examples or testimonials without permission. Sensitive career details are kept out of public website content and outreach tracking.
Retention and later file requests
Tough Study may retain submitted files, working files, and completed materials to maintain business records, preserve a private portfolio of its work, and make reasonable efforts to provide copies if a client asks for them later. Retention is not a guarantee of permanent backup or file recovery. Clients remain responsible for keeping their own copies of every final document.
Access, correction, deletion, and de-identification requests
You may contact Tough Study to request access, correction, deletion, or de-identification where applicable. Tough Study will delete personal information it is not legally required to retain. A de-identified version of created work may be retained for private portfolio and business-record purposes only when it can no longer reasonably be linked to the client. De-identification may require removing names, contact details, employers, schools, dates, locations, and distinctive accomplishments. Some administrative or payment records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.
